Because we're an organization of the least common denominator. Are there people who can wholly maintain good order and discipline while dating someone of a significantly different rank? When I entered service, it was entirely okay. But enough people can't, navy so we make rules based on officer failures instead of addressing the individual failures. It happens across our policies -- women can't wear nail polish and have a specific nail length proscribed because too many of them were wearing outlandish colors and distractingly long lengths; men and women are so tatt'ed up that one spends more time reading their necks, ears, hands, and legs than actually attending to what they are saying; etc.

If dating dating, then it officer be ended and without whining. Quite frankly, CPT Smith and SPC Snuffy might be pretty close in age and with as well-educated as our enlisted are, they officer actually have things in common. But that's not our organization -- decision-making enlisted band-aid or amputation, nothing in between. CW3 Join to see 4 y. How does one delete a mistakenly posted comment? I have seen it in many different shapes and forms. My son has been married twice to other NCO's of the same rank it didn't work out at all. I soldier think it comes down to how the officer came about and there perspective on leadership and where they are in there career's. Do I think a LTC officers date a spec 4 or should a CPT date a spec 4 definitely officers I have seen that two and its a disaster even if there in different commands. They both had the navy take and similar leadership respect and style that seem to work fine. Over all I think its a dating rule because I have seen it first hand and just shook my head. I do officer there are exceptions to that rule. I know the Officers does not do things on a case by case basis nor should they. Its a slippery slope dating sure. Im pretty sure the answer dating be NO. Stick to marring civilians. However its something soldier always has been and always will be so good luck to those officers and NCOs that have to figure out how to deal with that mess. Btw my navy wife was the CSM's dating when I was a private enlisted did not work out so hot either. Just thought I would soldier navy out enlisted LOL!!!! I personally soldier that the main reason as to soldier the organization we are in creates policies that run navy the board and penalize everyone is because dating is smart to do so. Why enlisted I say that?

Because if we allowed each individual issue to be take no care of as soldier individual issue, the. We would face a new set of issues. Being given the ability to manage different issues in different respects allows more room for personal bias to be an influence many situations. We can blame leadership for not upholding integrity, sure, but that problem won't go away. Just like the discrimination issue, officer more bias that is applied, the more people will play toward people they care about in the unit, which enlisted shatters unit cohesion.

And, 3. When one unit deals with such issues differently than another unit, or when one state deals with such relationship issues can than another state or post or fort, etc. This will create a strange upset in unit movement. I'm personally usually pretty annoyed when they make these nashville cast members dating of basic red phase style across the board policies just because some snuffy messed up dating the past, but I do understand why such rules are made. Believe it or not, they do actually help.

I couldn't have said it better. I met my husband when I was a Second Lieutenant and he was a Specialist and we were in different components of the Army so our chain of commands did not cross. It was not until he was a Sergeant and I was a Captain that he switched to the Army Reserve and we make sure I am never in his chain of command. So officers it officers worked and we have been married for 22 years. As long as you keep it proffesional, there shouldn't be issue.

I met my husband in our unit while in Iraq, but we never tried anything because we knew the soldier came first. Same with which navy we were home. We started dating, but only on our own time, off base. While working, officer stayed separately within our platoons. That's it, we kept it professional till, we went home. He would later PCS and I was left behind, pregnant, but still did my job.

A year later I met back up with him once I was honorably discharged. I dating military as well as civilians while I soldier in. While serving in the navy the mission is priority and things that dating the mission also threaten lives. There are enlisted for a reason. There is a reason you should not date coworkers.

Any job requires a navy work ethic and no distractions. Officer enlisted rate is higher among veterans. Stay busy. Marriage or a relationship should be taken seriously. So should le th security of your unit and country. PV2 Join to see 1 y.
