The Crisis Response Team responds periodically to crises as they arise in our community. Our main goal is to bring hope to the hopeless in times of crisis. It may be as easy as bringing food and supplies after a shack fire, as complicated as serving communities of people in xenophobic crises, or as long-term and in-depth as the Covid epidemic.

By volunteering for this team, you are committing to being on call for whatever rises. This may mean
months of no service or months of intense service. During the Covid pandemic our main achievement was to bring hope to the hopeless by providing basic need to the community. At one point we were providing food and clothes to over 500 people on a weekly basis. Relationships were built through sharing the word and loving people. We prayed for most of the people we serve. We have seen
prayers being answered and people getting jobs.
